Encounter the Father's Love

We're delighted to welcome you to this five day residential event where you will have an opportunity to encounter and experience the Father's Love for yourself.

Our venue is Cloverley Hall in Shropshire. It's a beautiful, peaceful environment with a relaxed atmosphere, good food and pleasant accommodation. We believe this is a safe place where you can open your heart to receive the love of the Father. 

During this Encounter there will be teaching on: Opening our heart to love, How the Father is revealed in Scripture, Redeeming the Orphan Heart, Allowing God to be a Father to us, Sonship, Forgiving from your heart, Comfort, Having a Childlike Heart and many other topics. During the course of the sessions there will be time to receive ministry, all of which is done by an experienced and sensitive team. Over the meal times there is ample opportunity to get to know one another and to talk more informally. The grounds of Cloverley are extensive and there's time to wander around and reflect on what is going on in your heart.

As we open our hearts, the Father pours His love into them through the Holy Spirit. In a heart transformed by love, true and lasting change can occur. It really is possible for us to live in sonship and 'walk as Jesus walked'.

The Encounter starts on Sunday 24th March 2024 with registration from 4pm onwards. There will be a short welcome and introductory session in the evening. Our time together will end after lunch on Thursday 28th March 2024. The total cost for the Encounter is £395 (which covers all meals, accommodation and tuition), a deposit of £100 is payable upon registration. The balance of £295 is due for payment on or before 1st March 2024. Applicants should be aged 18 or over. 

Following this event and starting on Friday 29th March, Trevor and Linda are also hosting a Father Heart Family Weekend. That requires a separate booking but if you would like to stay the extra night between the two events there is an additional charge of £50 per person. This needs to be paid at the same as registering for the Encounter making the initial deposit £150.

The Team

This Encounter is being led by Trevor and Linda Galpin.

In 2007 Trevor and Linda had an experience of being loved by God the Father which totally transformed their lives and subsequently their expression of Christian ministry. It continues to this day, living in his love. They started to live as a son and a daughter rather than as orphan hearted servants. Since then the Father has led them on a journey to share what they have received from him wherever he opens the door. This has taken them to over 30 nations around the world, from the slums of Haiti to the mountains of Norway; from the plains of Tanzania to the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. The journey continues.

The Venue - Cloverley Hall, Whitchurch, Shropshire

Tucked away in the corner of North Shropshire, Cloverley Hall Christian conference centre offers peace and quiet, yet remains easily accessible by road and rail. 

The grounds provide a safe haven for all, with the opportunity to enjoy the sports facilities or simply relax in the Shropshire countryside. Located 50-60 miles from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham, and just 30 minutes from Shrewsbury, Cloverley Hall Christian Conference Centre is an excellent location for our 'A' School.

The bedrooms are a combination of single, double or larger rooms and many have en-suite facilities with several having been recently modernised. We will allocate double rooms to married couples and then other participants may need to share a room; if there is anyone you would like to share with please let us know and we will do our best. We can not guarantee this until we have a full participant list and then we'll be able to allocate rooms accordingly. Some of the rooms have disabled access so please specify on the application form if you require these. If you are travelling from overseas then Cloverley Hall is relatively close to both Birmingham and Manchester airports. 

The main conference room is spacious with comfortable seating and a range of audio/visual facilities. Whilst it can seat up to 130 it will give us plenty of room to spread out.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of any Covid related restrictions which necessitate the cancellation of the school by Cloverley Hall we will refund the full amount paid by you. Alternatively we will seek revised dates and offer to roll your booking over to that. 
If you need to cancel for any reason, we will refund the fees paid by you, except the non-refundable deposit and our online fees in respect of the cancellation. For any cancellations after 19th February 2024 if will not be possible for us to issue a refund. However, if you are able to find a friend to take your place, by mutual agreement, we will transfer your fees to them.
